With UFC 249 as the landing spot for Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s showdown for the UFC lightweight title, White told BT Sport if Conor get surpass the Cowboy, he gets another shot at being 155-pound king.
“That fight’s done, it’s happening,” White told BT Sport aboutTony and Khabib’s fifth chance at making a fight.
“If Conor can get through Cowboy, and if Khabib can get through Tony, then we’d be looking at a rematch with Conor and Khabib down the line pretty soon.”
