Dana White Admits Howie Mandel Podcast Walkout Was Staged

Dana White says his walkout from Howie Mandel’s podcast was planned.

The CEO of the UFC appeared on Mandel’s podcast in February before UFC 298. During the podcast, Mandel praised White for making the UFC the biggest MMA brand in the world. However, while Mandel was talking, White decided to take his headphones off and walk out, saying: “I am so f**king tired of doing podcasts.”

It was a huge surprise, leaving Mandel and his team in shock. At the time, a few fans were curious if it was scripted. Now that the dust has settled, White revealed it was a planned skit.

“So we’re walking through and stuff and [Mandel] goes, ‘Would you do me a favor?’ I said, ‘Yeah, what’s up?’ He’s like, ‘Would you come in and get up and walk off my podcast?’ I go, ‘I would be f**king honored to walk off your podcast because I’m so f**king sick of doing podcasts, it’s not funny. We go in there and do it, right? He’s like, ‘Take this to the grave.’ I said, ‘Done, I’ll take it to the grave,” White said

Although White did reveal the secret, MMA fans were not too surprised to find out is was scripted. However, should White make a further appearance, it may draw more attention.
