Dana White Blasts Oscar De La Hoya

Last week, Golden Boy Promoter Oscar De La Hoya posted a lengthy message explaining why he believes a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor could seriously hurt the sport of boxing.

As it turns out, his comments did not sit well with UFC President Dana White.

Speaking to TMZ, White blasted De La Hoya for being hypocritical, citing De La Hoya’s previous comments about making a fight between Canelo Alvarez and McGregor.

He also dissed De La Hoya’s claim that McGregor vs. Mayweather would be a "money grab" fight with little competitive merit after Golden Boy put on a fight between Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. that ended up being a major mismatch.

"He’s talking about money grabs? Canelo-Chavez, you’re going to put on a fight like that and then call McGregor-Mayweather a money grab?"
