Dana White Doesn’t Believe Henry Cejudo Is Back From Retirement
One of the best fighters, Henry Cejudo, known as the triple champ, posted that USADA started checking him, which looked like a hint for the MMA community that he was about to be back inside the octagon.
However, UFC President Dana White says that Cejudo is retired, and posting something on social media doesn’t mean anything.
“No,” White told when asked if the current beef between Cejudo and Conor McGregor had him excited.
“Cejudo’s retired. Cejudo’s retired, you know? Cejudo knows what he needs to do to get back in and get—whatever. I mean, just talking sh–t on Instagram does not get you fights.”
Nothing, however, is official.
Cejudo defeated the No. 1 ranked pound-for-pound fighter, Demetrious Johnson when Johnson was in his prime. He defeated current Bellator bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis in 2017. He also knocked out T.J Dillashaw in 32 seconds and defeated one of the best bantamweights, Dominick Cruz, via TKO in the second round.
