Dana White, Fighters React To Will Smith Slapping Chris Rock At The Oscars
One of the craziest moments in Oscars’ history happened on Sunday.
Actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock hard across the face after the comedian made a joke about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and her now bald head. Pinkett Smith suffers from Alopecia, which causes hair loss.
During a monologue, Rock said, “Jada, I love you, G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it,” making fun of her shaved head.
She was visually displeased and moments later Smith made his way to the stage and slapped Rock. He walked back to his seat and said, “Keep my wife’s name out your f— mouth.”
“The Slap” has gone viral on social media with many in the fight industry chiming in on the conversation, including UFC President Dana White.
“FINALLY!!!!! there’s an #Oscars show worth watching. AND @chrisrock has a chin,” White tweeted.

Some fighters made fun of the incident and referenced Jorge Masvidal’s recent alleged street attack of Colby Covington, which fractured Covington’s tooth and bruised his arm.
