Dana White has confirmed that newly signed Shakur Stevenson (25-0, 11 KOs) will fight again before the end of 2026, but he declined to name an opponent.
When asked whether fans could expect Stevenson to return within the next three months, White simply said, “Yeah.”
He was then pressed further about who the opponent might be, but kept his response brief.
“If I did, I would have announced it already,” White said.
Devin Haney is committed to a WBO mandatory defense against Keyshawn Davis. Ryan Garcia will face Conor Benn in September, while Teofimo Lopez is scheduled to box Rolando Romero in August.
Stevenson has mentioned Gervonta Davis, Gary Antuanne Russell and Lamont Roach Jr. as potential opponents. White also acknowledged that conversations with Davis’ camp have taken place.
“I love Tank Davis,” White said. “I’m actually a fan, and we’ve talked to them.”
