Dana White Hints At A Huge UFC Fight

Dana White, the CEO of the UFC, has talked up a huge UFC fight that is in the works which does not involve Conor McGregor.

The UFC is preparing for what will be a huge 2024, with several title fights already in place. Sean Strickland vs. Dricus du Plessis, Alex Volkanovski vs. Ilia Topuria and Sean O’Malley vs. Chito Vera have all been confirmed before UFC 300. Meanwhile, McGregor, Brock Lesnar, and Ronda Rousey are some of the names that White has already ruled out for UFC 300. That has left question marks over who could make his way on the card, with White suggesting that a massive fight is being planned.

“We’re talking about one right now, actually, that just popped up a few days ago. I can’t talk about it until we get everybody … well, every fight that you would consider a ‘super fight’ would involve [Conor] McGregor but this one isn’t, no.

“These guys are all in good positions where they can wait for the right time. When you actually think about the fight, Chandler-Conor is a fun [expletive] fight. Tell me the last boring fight Chandler was in. Even going back to Bellator. He was in exciting fights in Bellator, too,” White stated

Outside of that, Dustin Poirier has put himself forward for appearing on the card. A rematch with Justin Gaethje could occur after Poirier was stopped at UFC 291. Either way, MMA fans were looking forward for what White had in store.
