Dana White Predicts Big Viewership For UFC Freedom 250

Dana White has predicted UFC Freedom 250 will draw Super Bowl-level viewership figures when the event takes place on the White House lawn on Sunday.

Last year’s Super Bowl had over $125 million viewers, but aired on network television while UFC Freedom will be streamed on Paramount +, meaning it will be tough to match. The UFC card features two title fights, headlined by the lightweight bout between champion Ilia Topuria and interim champion Justin Gaethje, with the co-main event seeing Ciryl Gane and Alex Pereira contest the interim heavyweight title.

“For UFC fans all over the world, this is a unique experience for everybody. We’re expecting Super Bowl-type numbers for this fight,” White

White also used the occasion to take aim at the awards industry, insisting the UFC’s production team deserves to sweep every available prize for their work on Sunday — and suggesting the organization has long been frozen out for political reasons.
