Dana White Puts The Pressure On Fury To Fight Jon Jones

Dana White has increased the pressure on Tyson Fury to make a fight with Jon Jones

Speculation over a crossover fight first emerged when Fury reacted angrily to Joe Rogan’s claim that the UFC star would walk out victorious in a no-rules fight between the pair.

The ‘Gypsy King’ reacted otherwise, which led to Jones requesting that a fight get made.

Although that was the case, Fury backtracked on those words, suggesting he would only be open to a boxing match.

And yet, White has not given up on that just yet.

“I’m telling Tyson Fury, whom I respect very much, if you really want to find out who the baddest man on the planet is, I will make that fight. I will make Jon Jones vs Tyson Fury in the Octagon,” White

The chances of this happening are slim but not out of the realm of possibilities. Connor McGregor entered into a historic boxing match with Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

In addition, Claressa Shields also entered the MMA world despite being the current undisputed middleweight champion. As such, White still remains hopeful that a deal can be done.

“We figured out how to pay Floyd [Mayweather] and figure out how to pay you to Tyson. So, the offer is out there if you want to do it in the UFC,” White
