Dana White Reacts To Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul

UFC President Dana White has weighed in on the upcoming exhibition bout between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul.

Mayweather vs. Paul is set to take place on February 20, 2021. The exhibition match will air live on pay-per-view through Fanmio. The current PPV price is $24.99 but will increase over time.

White spoke to the NELK Boys and chimed in on the announcement of Mayweather vs. Paul (via MMAJunkie.com).

“When people ask me, ‘What’s the state of boxing right now?’ That’s where it’s at. Didn’t that kid get beat up by the (expletive) video game kid from England, and now he’s going to fight Floyd Mayweather?”

Mayweather is one of the most accomplished boxers of all time. He won major championships in multiple divisions and ended his career with a perfect record of 50-0. Paul has just one pro bout and that was against fellow YouTuber KSI. Paul lost the fight via split decision.

Mayweather insists he’s done competing as a professional. With that said, “Money” is still very much active in terms of exhibition matches. Back in December 2018, he took on young kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition boxing bout that took place in Japan. Nasukawa was stopped in the first round via TKO.
