Dana White Reportedly Wants UFC 267 To Air On ABC
UFC President Dana White is in the mood to try something out to generate more revenue.
White is planning to get UFC 267 to break away from the typical pay-per-view (PPV) model by booking a network television slot on ABC.
The last time a UFC event was telecasted on ABC was in January 2021 when Max Hollway took on Calvin Kattar on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
But that wasn’t a PPV card.
So, if finalized, this will be the first time in the organization’s history that a PPV event would go on air.
Per Dana White, the hope is to have UFC 267 air on ABC.
The card will take place in the morning/afternoon in North America and take place in prime time locally in Abu Dhabi.

UFC 275 is headlined by the Jan Blachowicz versus Glover Teixeira fight. The co-main event will feature a rematch between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan. Islam Makhachev versus Rafael dos Anjos and Li Jingliang versus Khamzat Chimaev are also part of the fight card.
White has been the driving force behind the company’s revival since the Zuffa LLC era.
Organizing big fights are accredited to him, especially amid the coronavirus pandemic in Dubai when sports events were stopped worldwide.
