UFC CEO Dana White confirmed he is not part of contract negotiations, which are now headed by Hunter Campbell (Chief Business Officer) and the UFC’s matchmakers.
White’s comments were based on a personal choice to preserve his passion for the UFC. The $7.7 billion streaming deal with Paramount in 2025 marks another evolution for the promotion. Campbell has previously said he “runs the fight business” while White runs the company as a whole. By offloading the legal paperwork, White can now focus on other ventures such as The Power Slap League, the UFC’s expansion into Africa, all of which has allowed him to stay on top of his game.
“Obviously, it’s grown. I have completely removed myself from the negotiating part of fighter contracts. I got to a point where, ‘This isn’t fun anymore, man.’ I’m lucky that I’m at a point in my life and in my career where I can just deal with the fun stuff that I like to do,” White said
