Dana White Threatens Pacquiao With Lawsuit

UFC president Dana White has threatened to sue boxer, senator, and colonel, Manny Pacquiao over a potential offer from the popular boxer to UFC champion Conor McGregor.

The Filipino star recently revealed that he held initial talks with Conor McGregor over a potential boxing match. If what Pacquiao saying is true, White is furious because hasn’t gone through the UFC to secure a bout with the McGregor.

Pacquiao recently said of his potential fight with McGregor: “If we can negotiate it, I have no problem. [Talks?] Initially, but we have not had any follow-up conversations.”

White was less than impressed when he heard the revelation.

“That would be weird because [McGregor’s] under contract with us,” White said.

“If that’s true, I will be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever’s representing him. So, I’m assuming that’s not true.”

Pacquiao who stepped aside from a rematch with Jeff Horn due to his political responsibilities, teased a fight with McGregor in November with an Instagram post inviting McGregor to face him.
