UFC CEO Dana White admitted that he is unsure about Conor McGregor’s next steps.
McGregor has been out of the cage since his loss to Dustin Poirier in 2021, as he suffered a broken leg. Although he has had extensive rehabilitation since then, McGregor’s return is not looking any closer. The ‘Notorious’ had made it clear that his intention was to face Michael Chandler this year. However, his failure to enroll in USADA has not made that possible.
The organization requires athletes to submit two negative tests over a six-month period before they can compete. And yet, the failure to do that has not stopped McGregor from teasing his return. The two-weight champion has called out Justin Gaethje following his win over Poirier to claim the BMF title. Meanwhile, McGregor also hinted at moving up to 185 to face Sean Strickland after the latter’s win over Israel Adesanya to claim the middleweight title. But these mixed messages have left Dana White none the wiser.
Dana says there is no clue of what's next for Conor. They will wait to announce when Conor's back and see the landscap#DWCS
