Dana White’s Contender Series 27 Opening Night Weigh-In Results

Has the next big star for the UFC arrived? The premier episode will take place on August 4 and will air on Tuesday’s from the UFC’s APEX Center in Las Vegas.

Starting in 2017, the goal of Dana White’s Contender Series is to secure talent for the UFC. No fighter competing will have an existing UFC contract. White will then sign a fighter if they impress at any point. Weigh-ins took place prior to the premier event of 2020.

The main event of tomorrow’s episode will feature Shamrock FC veteran Ty Flores v. journeyman Dustin Jacoby. Flores made his professional debut in 2015 and is currently on a five-fight win streak. His last fight was a TKO-win against Erick Murray. Jacoby has competed for XFO, World Series of Fighting, Titan, and Bellator. Making his debut in 2010, Jacoby is 3-2 in his last three fights, winning his last bout in June 2019 against Cody East.
