Dana White’s Contender Series 27 Week Two Weigh-In Results
After three fighters earned contracts with the UFC last week, who will make the cut this time?
Taking place inside the UFC’s APEX Center in Las Vegas, Dana White’s Contender Series is back for week two of action. Starting in 2017, the goal of Dana White’s Contender Series is to secure fighters for the UFC. No fighter competing will have a current UFC contract. White will then sign a fighter if they impress at any point. Weigh-ins took place prior to the second event of the schedule.
The main event of this week will be Joseph Pyfer v. Dustin Stoltzfus in a middleweight bout. Pyfer (7-1) won his last fight for Ring of Combat back in February. He beat Chase Gamble via TKO, his fourth win via some form of knockout. It was a rebound following a loss to Jhonoven Pati in November. Stoltzfus (12-1) has recently fought for German MMA Championship, winning two fights for the promotion. His last fight was a submission win against Nihad Nasufovicm, his fifth win via submission.
