Daniel Dubois Looks Forward To Joe Joyce’s Rematch

Daniel Dubois (18-1, 17 KOs) isn’t intimidated if he gets another match against Joe Joyce.

The 24-year-old successfully bounced back from the only defeat of his career by getting past Trevor Bryan on June 11 at Miami.

Even though the fight wasn’t hyped, it was still an impressive performance by Dubois on foreign soil. After this win, the Britisher is bound to have some interesting fights in 2022.

The biggest talking point revolves around the rematch with Joyce.

During the fight with Joyce in November 2020, Dubois was suffering from an orbital fracture before deciding that he would sit out the count from the referee.

“I definitely have the fight against Joyce at the back of my mind. It is usually tougher when you have lost against someone as you would want the rematch to arrive as soon as possible,” Dubois stated.

“After all these wins, I believe it is time to make a statement against Joe. When I come to the ring with him, I want to show him that I’m a new and improved athlete,” Dubois concluded.

Frank Warren, the former boxing promoter, is excited by this battle and expects the fight to be held in the stadium.

“This is a stadium fight and that is something we all want to see,” Warren stated.
