Daniels Gets New Opponent For Bellator MMA Debut
Raymond Daniels Bellator MMA debut has changed, as the Bellator kickboxing welterweight champion will have a new opponent on May 4th.
Bellator returns to the United Kingdom on May 4th, which was set to see Daniels battle Jon Durrant on the main card, but due to injury, Wilker Barros will be facing the former K-1 and GLORY kickboxer.
While this marks Daniels debut for Bellator’s MMA brand, the well-known kickboxer fought in Strikeforce in 2008, taking a submission loss from Jeremiah Metcalf in the second round.
Barros, a former GLORY signee, will be making his MMA debut on May 4th, after going 17-5-2 in his non-mma career.
