Danny Garcia Favors Errol Spence Over Terence Crawford In Their Upcoming Fight

Former two-division world champion Danny Garcia (36-3, 21 KOs) shared the ring with Errol Spence in his last professional fight in December 2020, which resulted in a 12-round unanimous decision defeat with the score of 117-11, 116-112, and 116-112.

As his former nemesis is going head-to-head against Terence Crawford, the 34-year-old has picked “The Truth” to come out on top

There are lots of comparisons floating around between Crawford and Canelo Alvarez in terms of playing styles. However, Garcia stated that he had mixed feelings about his match initially but now believes that Spence will win because of his power and work-rate.

“In the beginning, it was 50-50, but now for some reason, I’m leaning more towards Spence,” said Danny Garcia to Fighthype.

“I feel like he’s going to be too strong, and his work rate. The only thing he can’t do is get caught because if he gets caught a little bit, he’ll be shaky.

“But other than that, he’s going to beat him. Crawford throws the shorter punches. That’s why his punches are harder. Spence’s are a little bit wider. He [Crawford] throws the shorter punches, and that’s why they have the effect.

“Spence throws a little wide, but he breaks you down. He’s #1, so a lot of guys feed into that, but I look at the styles,”.
