Danny Garcia Reveals What He Has To Do To Beat Errol Spence Jr.

Danny Garcia has revealed what he believes is the key to dethroning Errol Spence Jr.

On Saturday night, December 5, Garcia will challenge Spence for the WBC and IBF Welterweight Titles. Garcia is no stranger to gold. He’s captured the WBA and WBC gold in the past. This time, however, he’ll need to hand Spence his first career loss if he’s to become a titleholder this weekend.

During an interview with Fight Hub TV, Garcia talked about what he believes to be the key to success against Spence (h/t Bad Left Hook).

“You know, I just feel I gotta be myself. I not gonna go in there and beat myself up and say ‘you gotta do this, you gotta do that.’ I just gotta go in there and be Danny Garcia — do my thing and have fun, fight hard.”

Garcia was asked about his father’s prediction of a seventh-round knockout victory. Here’s what “Swift” had to say in response.

“You know, we just feel like we can find openings. Just find openings and hit him hard, test his chin.”

Spence vs. Garcia will air LIVE on PBC on FOX PPV and on FIGHT SPORTS in over 30 countries worldwide. Can’t watch the action live? Join us this weekend for live results, highlights, and post-fight tidbits.
