Darren Till’s Boxing Debut Ends In A Post-Fight Brawl

Darren Till’s win over Mohammad Mutie was clouded by controversy after a brawl broke out following the fight at the Social Knockout 3 card in Dubai, UAE.

Till was making his boxing debut, which ended in controversial circumstances. During the second round, Till landed a punch that appeared to connect on the back of Mutie’s head. Mutie protested to the referee before falling to his knees. The fight was called off. Till was declared the winner via a second-round TKO. Mutie then ran over to Till and threw a kick at him. A brawl broke out between the two camps. Till landed a left hand in response while they were on the ropes. Once the dust had settled, Till had plenty to say.

“This is fighting, you get hit. If you don’t wanna continue fighting, don’t be a fighter. He’s not a fighter. He’s not a real fighter. He’s a coward. And then, when I’m minding my own business, he comes and attacks me.I’m so sorry. I’m not that guy. I’m a respectful guy. I love this sport. l love Dubai. I’ve been coming here since 2016 so I do want to apologize but I was standing there minding my own business and he came over to attack me with his team. I’ve got to defend myself. I’m really sorry about that guys,” Till said
