David Benavidez Calls Out Canelo Alvarez And Jermall Charlo Following KO Win
David Benavidez has hiked his chances to feature in the money fight against unified champion Canelo Alvarez after beating Kyrone Davis.
Davis, who came in as a late replacement, was wobbled in the fifth time when Benavidez struck him a hard left hand.

The 24-year-old had him around the ropes on quite a few occasions. Davis’ corner had seen enough beating by the seventh round when they decided to throw the towel in the ring.
His coaches seemed to call it off at the end of the sixth round, but then changed their mind and sent Davis in again.

After clinching another knockout victory in front of a hometown Phoenix crowd, the two-time former champ said he would take on either Canelo Alvarez or Jermall Charlo in early 2022. However, he was quick to add that Charlo will avoid fighting him “because he’s a big p-ssy, that’s why.”
With the kind of performance Benavidez put up, it will be hard for Canelo to refuse to take on him. The Mexican superstar made history on November 6 when beat Caleb Plant, claiming all four belts.
The fight was nowhere close as most boxing pundits had predicted.
