David Benavidez Vs. Demetrius Andrade Set To Go Ahead On November 24th
David Benavidez will face Demetrius Andrade on November 24th, 2023, as he defends his WBC interim super-middleweight belt.
Benavidez’s last bout was against Caleb Plant in March as he beat the former IBF super-middleweight champion via a unanimous decision. That made the ‘Mexican Monster’ the WBC mandatory for Canelo Alvarez. However, the undisputed champion chose to face Jermell Charlo instead, as they will fight on September 30th, 2023.
In contrast, Andrade is a two-weight world champion at 154 and 160 pounds. His IQ has often been credited for making him a dangerous fighter, but in Benavidez, he will have to overcome a much bigger fighter. Andrade’s last fight was a unanimous-decision victory over Demond Nicholson in January. And with both fighters being undefeated, there is plenty on the line. A victory will put the winner in line for a mandatory shot against Canelo.

I got benavidez . Andrade just doesn’t impress me at all . I haven’t seen him do anything that gave me that vibe that he’s got a chance

David might not feel so motivated for this one and we all know Andrade will be ready because the man needs to recoup all that money he’s been spending to go to Canelos fights. David will underestimate Boo Boo like his brother underestimated Bud.
