Davis KOs Nunez in Two Rounds

Another night and another quick title defense for Gervonta “Tank” Davis, as he knocked out Ricardo Nunez in front of a hometown crowd in Baltimore, Maryland, in the second round of their bout.

Both came out firing right away in the opening round, with Nunez looking to live up to his promise of scoring an upset knockout. But he would be the one ultimately stopped in the second.

Davis caught Nunez with a left hand and delivered a barrage of shots until the referee waved off the bout.

Following the fight, Davis called out IBF Super Featherweight Champion Tevin Farmer for a title unification bout.
