Davis-Mayweather Issues Restarted
A few months ago, it seemed that the business relationship between Gervonta Davis and Floyd Mayweather was dissolving. Tweets from the Baltimore based boxer framed his relationship with the retired boxer/promoter as a controlling and unhealthy partnership.
While that would be squashed soon after, Davis’ frustration would reemerge this week, as Davis would return to Twitter to sub-tweet Mayweather for attempting to micromanage Davis’ camp.

When asked about plans for going out on his own, Davis seems to be on his way towards going out on his own.

Mayweather has claimed that Davis would have his second fight of 2018 against Abner Mares, but there has been nothing official made in terms of a deal.
