Davis Vs. Garcia Undercard Announced
The upcoming boxing match between Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia, scheduled for April 22nd, 2023, has been enhanced with three undercard bouts.
As part of the lineup, the first bout will feature Elijah Garcia, an up-and-coming middleweight boxer with a record of 14 wins and 12 knockouts, facing off against Kevin Salgado, who has a record of 15 wins, one loss, and one draw with ten knockouts.
Meanwhile, the co-main event will feature David Morrell Jr, the WBA ‘regular’ super middleweight champion, defending his title against the number nine ranked contender, Sena Agbeko.
There is a lot on the line, given that Morrell is allegedly contractually bound to face David Benavidez, the WBA interim super middleweight champion.
ANNOUNCED ✅
One of boxing's best kept secrets, David Morrell, will defend his WBA 168lbs crown against Sena Agbeko on the Tank Davis/Ryan Garcia undercard on the 22nd 🥊

And given that Benavidez overcame Caleb Plant with a dominant performance, victory over Agbeko would put Morrell Jr in an excellent place to take on the ‘Mexican Monster’, knowing that the winner could then fight Canelo Alvarez.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Rosado, who has a record of 26-16-1 and 15 KOs, is set to face Bektemir Melikuziev. Their previous clash in 2021 resulted in Rosado knocking Bektemir out.
However, Rosado’s career could have been better after his unexpected victory against Bektemir, as he has faced three consecutive losses since then.
Despite the card, the boxing fraternity has not been impressed, given the reported $85 pay-per-view price.
We have to make our voice be Heard @StephenEspinoza how dare you charge people 85$ for a weak undercard

But with the headline event, Davis and Garcia know that the winner will become the face of boxing. And that has made the bout more intriguing than ever.
