Davit Kiria Return to GLORY Delayed

Former GLORY lightweight champion Davit Kiria was originally scheduled to return to the GLORY ring as part of the GLORY lightweight tournament at GLORY 36: Germany. Kiria, however, has had to pull from the card.

His replacement in the tournament will be French Muay Thai champion Dylan Salvador, who makes his promotional debut. He will face Anatoly Moiseev in the semifinal round of the lightweight tournament. The winner of this bout will face the winner of a bout between Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai and Hysni Beqiri to determine who will receive a future lightweight championship title shot.

GLORY 36: Germany will, in fact, be main evented by a lightweight title fight with Sittichai Sitsongpeenong defending against Marat Grigorian (46-9-2).

GLORY 36: Germany will air on live on ESPN3 on Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. E.T. It will be one of three GLORY cards that day, as GLORY 36: SuperFight Series and GLORY: Collision will also both be taking place. GLORY 36 SuperFight Series will air on UFC Fight Pass at 1:30 p.m. E.T., and GLORY: COLLISION takes place on pay-per-view and UFC.tv at 4 p.m E.T. The headline bout of the triple-card extravaganza will see a heavyweight showdown between GLORY heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven and Badr Hari.
