DAZN Flops As Davis Vs. Garcia Coverage Marred By Problems – ‘Charged 6 Times’
DAZN had a night to forget with reports that numerous customers experienced problems when streaming the Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia fight.
According to reports, customers were charged multiple times, up to 9 times, for the fight. There had been high hopes for the platform, which was offering the fight at $60 in comparison to Showtime’s $84.99.
#DAZNREFUND needs to happen. Plenty of people I know also ran into the same issue of not being able to see #DavisGarcia while also being charged 6 times. This is a huge problem especially right before #CaneloRyder . They may be forced to take it off PPV and make it regular DAZN

Despite that being the case, DAZN’s customers experienced numerous problems, even after the platform had confirmed that any teething issues were resolved.
Not only that but the platform has been heavily criticized for its inconsistent model.
The network vowed to end pay-per-view, declaring it ‘dead,’ only to then backtrack by offering pay-per-views for certain events.
And to top it all off, DAZN has seen an increase in price for its monthly and annual subscriptions, only adding to the growing dissatisfaction with the streaming platform.
But if DAZN has serious aspirations of being a ‘mecca of boxing,’ then surely changes will come.
