De La Hoya’s Vegas Mansion On Sale For $20 Million

Oscar De La Hoya’s mansion has been put on the market for $20 million.

The house is 9,000 square feet, boasting an impressive five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, in Henderson, Nevada, approximately five miles south of Las Vegas. The promoter reportedly bought the property for $14.6 million in 2022 while construction work was still ongoing. If the sale goes through, it will earn De La Hoya a nice, tidy profit.

However, De La Hoya’s life in the boxing world has not been so steady. Since becoming a six-weight world champion, he co-founded Golden Boy Promotions. However, his current stable is under scrutiny. His biggest star, Ryan Garcia, failed a VADA test for Ostarine, leaving his win over Devin Haney in doubt.

If Garcia fails to prove his innocence, it could become a no-contest. Canelo Alvarez also accused De La Hoya of trying to steal money from him, leaving the promoter to issue a cease-and-desist. Alvarez would then beat De La Hoya’s fighter Jaime Munguia. With Vergil Ortiz Jr. Oscar’s other main fighter, who does not sell well, Golden Boy has a tough road ahead.
