Details Of An Extended Partnership With The UFC And Saudi Arabia Announced

With plans already in place for the UFC’s first trip to Saudi Arabia this Summer, it now seems this could be a regular occurrence given the recent announcement.

Earlier this week, Saudi Arabia’s Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Alalshikh posted a press release alongside a picture with UFC CEO Dana White, in which details of future events were revealed.

In addition to hosting another event in 2024 or 2025, Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season will also sponsor UFC 306 in September, which is set to be the first MMA event inside the Sphere in Las Vegas.

Without a mention of an established date, Riyadh will also plan to host a Power Slap event in the near future.

The UFC’s first fight card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will take place on June 22nd with Robert “The Reaper” Whittaker (25-7) taking on the dominant Khamzat Chimaev (13-0) in the main event. In the co-feature, heavyweights Sergei Pavlovich (18-2) and Alexander Volkov (37-10) will collide.
