Devin Haney Comments On Gervonta Davis

Devin Haney has no upcoming fight lined up yet, but some fans already know who they want to see him against.

“You need to fight tanks,” someone replied, referring to Gervonta “Tank” Davis.

“He’s never gonna fight nobody,” Haney retorted aggressively, “He’s 27 with a Mickey Mouse belt & the best person on his resume is Pedraza.”

“So, Tank Davis says he’s gonna fight in December, huh?” He said. “I’m willing to bet it won’t be Garcia Haney Loma or Lopez. I say he’s gonna fight 49-year-old Juan Manuel Marquez.,”

The world of boxing usually has a lot of Twitter wars going on. However, Davis’ words were telling as he wasn’t usually known for online spats.

The 27-year-old may have an undefeated record of 27-0, but accusations within his career seem to be destroying his reputation consistently.

It is safe to say that he has a similar reputation as his mentor Floyd Mayweather, who was accused of having a business-savvy career.

“Three of the four fighters you mention already have fights scheduled in Oct or Dec,” he responded. “Making them unavailable to fight Tank in December, and Tank’s team is in discussions with the fourth.

“So exactly what is Tank doing wrong right now? Oh, sorry, you’re just trolling, huh?”
