Devin Haney Vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko Is Being Planned By Bob Arum

Bob Arum has come out and said that a Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko matchup is another fight that he is working on.

This was stated during his appearance on the YouTube chat show, Barbershop Conversations.

“Devin Haney has an obligation to fight [George] Kambosos again. We have let Devin Haney know that if Lomachenko can get out of Ukraine, he would take a tune-up fight, and then if Haney beats Kambosos, Haney would get the Lomachenko fight,” Arum said.

The Ukrainian former three-weight world champion has recently spent time in his homeland, helping on the front lines to fight back against the Russian Invasion.

As for Haney, he agreed to the fight with Kambosos Jr for the unification of his WBC belt and the Australian’s WBA, WBO and IBF titles upon signing with Top Rank.

Haney traveled down to Australia for the fight at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, where he left with all four world titles.

However, due to a rematch clause, the undefeated American will have to win against Kambosos Jr once again in order to fight Vasyl Lomachenko and any other of the division’s elite fighters.
