Dillashaw Admits To EPO Use In Video Apology
On Friday, former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw admitted that he “messed up,” in a video apology after being found to have used EPO in at-least two drug tests.
The apology video (seen below) comes after Dillashaw was handed a two-year suspension by USADA after being found to have EPO in his system in two tests prior to his January 2018 loss to UFC flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo.
“I’m having a hard time trying to forgive myself for this,” 33-year-old Dillashaw said … “Which I SHOULD have a hard time.”
“But, I got to man up to what I did,” Dillashaw said after denying how he failed the test back in March.
Now, Dillashaw will sit until January 2021 and looks to set a better example for his 15-month old son, showing that he can come back from this “mistake.”
“This is who I am. I’m a fighter … and I’m gonna have to fight my way through this one.”
