Dustin Poirier Spotted Training In Dublin, Fans Want A Fourth Fight With McGregor
Dustin Poirier was in Dublin, Ireland, undergoing some training, sparking fans to demand a fourth fight between him and Conor McGregor.
Poirier’s last fight was a second-round-stoppage loss to Justin Gaethje as the latter grabbed the BMF title. In the aftermath, Dustin considered the possibility of moving up from lightweight, having lost the last two of his three fights. Regardless, Poirier does plan on making a return for one more fight this year. And since McGregor is planning on doing the same, albeit against Michael Chandler, the fans were curious to see them face each other again.
Their current rivalry stands at 2-1 in favor of Poirier, who has won the last two. Their last bout in 2021 ended with Dustin stopping McGregor in the first round as the latter broke his leg. So, with plenty of reasons to run things back, Dustin’s training regime caught people’s attention. The MMA fighter was in Dublin to train his stablemate, Sabah Homasi, who will fight in Bellator this week. In the image below, Poirier can be seen doing some roadwork. But it was the prospect of facing McGregor that got the fanbase talking.
