Ebay Receives Over £66,000 In Bids For Microwave Signed By Chris Eubank Jr.

While most people come up to athletes for selfies and autographs on a notebook, a man approached Chris Eubank Jr. with a microwave to be signed right out the boxer’s hotel in Newcastle.

This happened ahead of his knockout win against Wanik Awdijan. Eubank got to know about the microwave’s auction on eBay when someone sent him a link to the bids.

He was astonished to see the bids cross £66,000. The boxer then announced that he will match the winning offer and donate cash to charity.

Thanks to Eubank’s kind gesture, the microwave has been labeled “the most famous microwave in Britain.”

On the work front, Eubank Jr is on a subliminal journey, fetching one win after another.

He has already begun eyeing for his next opponent.

“Anybody with a world title, anything the fans want to see me fight… A guy that keeps popping up is Liam Williams, everyone seems to want that fight for me so that’s an option,” Eubank told talkSPORT in a recent interview.

“You’ve got that rat Saunders running around, he wants to fight me for £5 million. The options are endless. All I know, from December, big names, it’s gonna be a hell of 12 months,” the 32-year-old added.
