Eddie Hall Breaks Alex Pereira’s UFC Punch Record

Eddie Hall, the former World’s Strongest Man, broke UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira’s punch record at the UFC Performance Institute.

Pereira is in the best form of his career, having knocked out Jamahal Hill in the first round to retain his UFC Light Heavyweight Title at UFC 300. He is a two-weight world champion, possibly moving up to heavyweight to become the first three-division champion. Pereira’s punching power was shown on the punching machine, breaking Francis Ngannou’s previous record of 129,000, beating it with a staggering 191,796.

Hall is friends with UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall. Pereira and Aspinall have been linked with a fight. Aspinall’s influence worked on Hall, who set a new record of 208,901. The clip below shows Hall breaking the record on his fourth attempt with a solid right hand. While Hall set a new record, he winced in pain, showing the effort required to break the record.
