Edgar & Swanson Possible For UFC Atlantic City

Coming off his loss at UFC 222, Frankie Edgar may get a chance to fight in his home state on April 21st.

According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, the UFC is considering bringing Edgar back less than a month after losing to Brian Ortega on March 3rd, to face Cub Swanson at UFC Fight Night: Atlantic City.

Swanson, who tested free agency after his contract expired in December, will be resigning with the promotion per the report by Okamoto.

Swanson’s most recent fight was also against Ortega, who submitted Swanson in the second round of their fight in December.

The Swanson- Edgar fight would join a card main evented by Kevin Lee and Edson Barbosa, emanating from the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall.
