Edson Barboza (24-14, 14-5 KOs) says his fight against Esteban Ribovics (15-3, 7 KOs) this Saturday at UFC 330 could be the final fight of his career.
The 40-year-old will make his 33rd UFC appearance when he faces Ribovics in Philadelphia, although he has not made a firm decision about retirement.
“This next fight could be the finish line,” Barboza said. “If I feel good and I want to continue, I’ll keep going. But if not, I’m very comfortable with everything I’ve accomplished.”
Barboza said the opportunity to spend more time with his wife and children will play an important role in his decision.
The Brazilian has earned 18 UFC victories across a career spanning more than 15 years, becoming one of the promotion’s most respected strikers
