While skeptics may dismiss this as a mere gimmick, UFC President Dana White has shown genuine interest in the concept.
He firmly asserts that this won’t be a sideshow spectacle, countering naysayers who doubt the legitimacy of the match.
“I was talking to Elon and Mark last night, both guys are absolutely dead serious about this.
“Because they both said, ‘Yeah we’ll do it.’ They both want to do it. Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first and said, ‘Is he serious?’
“I said, ‘I don’t know, let me ask [Musk].’ I asked him and he said, ‘Yeah, I’m dead serious,” White
Will Musk emerge victorious, armed with the warrior spirit of Georges St-Pierre, if the fight goes ahead?
Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: this showdown would forever change the landscape of combat sports.
