UFC double champion Amanda Nunes knows she has a big bantamweight title fight this Saturday against Holly Holm, but she and fiance Nina Ansaroff seem to be planning something bigger than their wedding.
Speaking with TMZ, the engaged fighters said they would definitely consider a “super-fight” at flyweight.
“We already talked about it,” Nina says. “After she gets the belt, I’m gonna get my belt at [115 pounds], and then we’re gonna do a super-fight at 125 … we’re so down. We really would try to kill each other.”
“Why not? Bring the money home in the same household.”
Nunes, who may have a rematch with Cris Cyborg later this year if both fighters walk out with wins at UFC 239 and UFC 240 respectively, made it clear she’d be down for the scrap as well. “My last fight is gonna be against Nina and then I’m gonna retire,” Nunes was quoted to have said.
“Afterwards it would be like, ‘that was awesome,” Ansaroff continued to the gossip site.
