Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn are not the only ones patiently waiting for Deontay Wilder to sign a contract for a heavyweight unification fight.
Stephen Espinoza, Showtime’s president of sports and event programming, believes that the highly anticipated title fight can happen in the next six months.
“Things are moving. Discussions are happening,” Espinoza told TMZ this week in New York.
Espinioza believes this fight could be bigger than Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin’s highly anticipated rematches, and could only be matched by the Tyson and Lennox Lewis fight from 2002.
