Estrada Stops Beamon in Nine
Juan Francisco Estrada put on a noteworthy performance in his first defense of the WBC super flyweight championship, scoring a ninth-round finish of Dewayne Beamon.
Estrada got off to a big lead early on, dropping Beamon not once, but twice, in the second round when the pair battled in close range.

Estrada continued to batter Beaumon around, but in the fourth, the challenger began to answer bringing plenty of exchanges over the next few rounds of the contest.
Estrada began to take back clear control in the seventh round, and he busted Beaumon open in the eighth round before finishing Beamon off in the ninth.
