Eubank Vs. Benn Rematch Is Off

The Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn rematch is no longer going ahead after the Saudis, Sela and The Ring removed their involvement.

Eubank beat Benn in their first fight via a unanimous decision. The rematch was set for September 20, but reports indicate that Eubank Jr. has been hesitant to finalize the fight, with weight and rehydration clauses being the major sticking points. In their first clash, Eubank had to drop down to 160 pounds, which he failed to make. He also had to abide by a 10-pound rehydration limit. While he secured the win, Chris Eubank Sr. was worried over the dangers before the fight went ahead. Eubank will now likely target Canelo Alvarez for 2026, while Benn will likely return to 147 pounds.

Sources have informed The Ring that both Riyadh Season and Sela are no longer involved in the rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn.
