Eubanks Furious At UFC Over UFC 230 Cancellation

Sijara Eubanks is no longer fighting for the vacant UFC women’s flyweight title next month, and she’s not happy about it.

On Tuesday morning Sijara Eubanks was in the main event of UFC 230 in Madison Square Garden against Valentina Shevchenko, 24 hours later not only is she off the card, but out of title contention with Joanna Jedrzejczyk taking her spot for a fight at UFC 231.

“Buncha f—kin cowards!! You pull me from this thing and you’ll regret it!” Eubanks wrote towards UFC president Dana White and matchmaker Mick Maynard on Tuesday night.

“Put me under card. Put me co main. I don’t care. But put me in for the Flyweight title shot! (Dana White) (Mick Maynard) IVE EARNED MY SHOT. THIS IS MY TIME. Quit running this thing like a circus.

“This is my life you’re playing with (Dana White) (Mick Maynard).”

Eubanks would go as far as to tweet at Shevchenko to campaign to stay in the fight and tell Jedrzejczyk to stay “on vacation” and that she’s not ready to move up.

“Me and you muthaf***a we gonna fight,” Eubanks wrote towards Shevchenko. “(Joanna Jdrzejczyk) stay ya ass on vacation you not ready for the big dogs. I want my f***n belt yo.”

This is the second time that Eubanks would be denied am opportunity to win the vacant title, as she would be pulled from the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 26 against Nicco Montano due to an issue cutting weight, the same issue that would befall Montano.

Eubanks is now 1-0 in the UFC with a decision win over Lauren Murphy earlier this year.
