After pulling out the first and only World Bare Knuckle Fighting Federation in 2018, Shawne Merriman has decided to remain in fighting, as the new co-owner of Lights Out Xtreme Fighting.
Speaking with TMZ on Wednesday, the retired linebacker for the San Diego Chargers, confirmed his part-ownership in the organization, which is set to debut on May 11th in Burbank, California.
The name comes from Merriman’s NFL-nickname and post-career branding, that includes a clothing line.
When speaking to the gossip site, Merriman confirmed that he would fight for the LOXF, but only if the right opponent came along for the 34-year old first round pick.
