Fabio Wardley Vs. Daniel Dubois Officially Set For May
Fabio Wardley has been scheduled to defend his WBO heavyweight title versus Daniel Dubois this May inside the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.
Wardley (20-0-1) earned the interim heavyweight title with his eleventh round stoppage of Joseph Parker last October. He was later elevated to full WBO champion, and his match with Dubois will be his first defense of his new title.
Dubois (22-3) is most recently coming off a knockout defeat versus Oleksandr Usyk, and will certainly be looking to bounce back following the loss of his belt.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 9th, beginning at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT on DAZN, with the preliminary matches free on YouTube. At this time, the main event for the WBO title between Wardley and Dubois is the only fight that has been scheduled for the card, with further bout announcements expected in the coming weeks.
