Facebook’s Zuckerberg Wins A Gold Medal During First-Ever Jiu-Jitsu Tournament
Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg earned a gold and silver medal in his first-ever Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament.
On his debut, Zuckerberg showcased his impressive grappling abilities by securing medals in both the Gi and No-Gi categories.
While that may have been a surprise for many, the tech mogul holds a longstanding interest in the sport.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Zuckerberg reportedly developed a keen interest in mixed martial arts.
However, his critics raised doubts about whether the recent agreement between Meta and the UFC had broader underlying motivations.
However, those fears were dispelled when Zuckerberg reportedly booked the entire UFC Apex center for a private screening of the sport, thus confirming his passion.
With that being said, the Facebook founder was delighted at his progress.
“Competed in my first jiu jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu team. Thanks to @davecamarillo @khaiwu @intense0ne for training me,” Zuckerberg
