FanDuel Must Pay $230,000 For Pre-Recorded PFL Bets

Sportsbook company FanDuel has been fined $2,000 and ordered to pay $230,000 in bets after taking 34 bets on PFL fights that had already been concluded a week before.

According to reports, FanDuel took bets on PFL fights that would air on April 1 2022, as part of the PFL Challengers series card on Fubo TV. However, the fights had taken place on March 25. Now, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has ordered the company to make the payouts. FanDuel informed the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement that its data-feed providers had not told them the PFL card had been conducted earlier. FanDuel has, however, agreed to pay the fine.

“FanDuel confirmed that its traders failed to confirm with PFL that the event had previously occurred and was being presented via a tape delay,” New Jersey Deputy Attorney General Gina DeAnnuntis
