FBI Stopped UFC White House Attack

FBI Director Kash Patel revealed that the FBI foiled a plot to attack the UFC 250 June 14 event at the White House on June 10.

According to reports, the plan involved drones carrying explosives targeting nearby buildings, a sniper team to hit fleeing crowds, and a secondary attempt to storm the White House gate. Multiple individuals are now in custody following a multi-state operation. Secret Service Director Sean Curran confirmed his agency worked closely with the FBI throughout. When asked about the plot at the G7 summit, President Trump said he hadn’t heard about it. The motives of those allegedly involved have not been released.

“On June 10, FBI and our law enforcement partners became aware of a potential threat to the UFC America 250 event in Washington, D.C. involving individuals outside of the National Capital Region — and thanks to the rapid action of this FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and allegedly planned attacks were stopped cold,” Patel said
