Twenty years ago, Fedor Emelianenko defeated Renato Sobral via unanimous decision. The win would go on to further cement the Russian fighter’s name in the MMA and Bellator community.

After the win at Rings: 10 Anniversary against Sobral, Emelianenko, 44, continued an impressive winning streak and remained dominant in his career. His last fought Quinton Jackson where he bagged a first-round TKO victory in 2019.

Emelianenko will return to the octagon after a two-year absence to face No. 2 ranked heavyweight Tim Johnson in the homecoming main event of Bellator Moscow on October 23.
